The upcoming superhero action 'romance' feature "Thor: Love and Thunder", currently in post-production, based on the Marvel Comics character 'Thor', is produced by Marvel Studios, intended to be a direct sequel to "Thor: Ragnarok" (2017), directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, starring Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum and Vin Diesel, scheduled for theatrical release July 8, 2022:
