Marvel's "Moon Knight" on Disney+

Actor Oscar Issac ("Ex-Machina") is in talks to star as 'Marc Spector' in Marvel Studios upcoming live-action "Moon Knight" (aka "SpectorCorp") TV series, based on the Marvel Comics characters, for exclusive streaming on Disney+:

"Moon Knight" was created for Marvel Comics by writer Doug Moench and illustrator Don Perlin...

...debuting in "Werewolf by Night" #32 (August 1975).

"...former boxer, 'US Marine' and 'CIA'operative, 'Marc Spector' is left for dead in the Egyptian desert after a battle with the mercenary 'Bushman'.

"However, he is given a second chance at life by the alien Egyptian moon god 'Khonshu', who offers him the chance to become the god's 'Avatar on Earth'.

"After defeating Bushman, Spector returns to the US to fight crime and corruption as 'Moon Knight', aka 'The Fist of Khonshu'.

His strength, endurance and reflexes are enhanced depending upon the phases of the moon. The fuller the moon, the more strength 'Moon Knight' derives from it.

A complicated character with multiple personalities, it's not known how much of Spector's strength is mystical and how much is self-induced due to mental/psychological instability.
