Paramount Animation's upcoming cartoon feature "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run", directed by Tim Hill and produced by Ryan Harris, has been acquired by Netflix for exclusive streaming in 2021:

Since its debut in 1999, "SpongeBob SquarePants" is seen in more than 208 countries and territories, translated in 55+ languages and averaging more than 100 million total viewers every quarter. The new film marks the third feature-length "Spongebob adventure", following "The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie" (2014) and "Sponge Out of Water" (2015).
