"Lovecraft Country" is the new supernatural drama TV series, developed by Misha Green based on the novel by Matt Ruff, airing August 16, 2020, on HBO:
"...'Atticus Black', his friend 'Letitia' and his 'Uncle George' embark on a road trip across 1950's 'Jim Crow' America in search of Atticus' missing father.
"This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both racist terrors and terrifying, demonic monsters along the way..."
Cast includes Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Jonathan Majors, Aunjanue Ellis, Abbey Lee, Jada Harris, Wunmi Mosaku and Michael Kenneth Williams.
