Gabrielle Union is 'Special Agent/Detective Lieutenant 'Sydney Burnett' - an ex-'DEA' agent transferred to 'LAPD'. She is the sister of 'Marcus Burnett' from the "Bad Boys" movies and Jessica Alba is 'Detective Lieutenant 'Dolores McKenna' - a working stepmother and secret former career criminal who is Syd's new partner and friend in the LAPD.
Duane Martin is 'Detective Lieutenant Benjamin Baines', Zach Gilford is 'Detective Lieutenant Benjamin Walker', Ryan McPartlin is 'Patrick McKenna' - Nancy's husband and a Los Angeles district attorney and Ernie Hudson ("Ghostbusters") is 'Joseph Burnett-Vaughn'.
