The May 1991 issue of Marvel Comics' "The Spectacular Spider-Man" #176, eerily predicts a super-villain called 'Corona', who invades the streets of New York City, while a devastating 'Soho Fever' virus spreads throughout the city:
"...during the growing threat of 'Soho Fever', 'Corona' reveals to 'Spider-Man' that her brother created the viral sickness and since developed a cure, though he's keeping it secret and hoping to profit by releasing it on the market.
"But Corona wants the serum for her own use, while Spider-Man wants to use what little of the supply he's obtained to cure the citizens of New York City and his love 'Mary Jane'..."
