The first issue of Marvel Comics new 6-issue miniseries "Marvels X", available March 2020 is written by Jim Krueger and illustrated by Velibor Stanojevic, with variant cover artists including Alex Ross:
"...'David' has a problem. He lives in a world of monsters that would love to devour him. He's the last boy on Earth.
"The last human being on Earth. And these creatures that see him only as prey, they're his former neighbors. He has one hope: to get to New York. To get to where 'Captain America' and the rest of the heroes are.
"But David’s arrival in New York doesn’t bring the safety he had hoped it would.
" And while he does indeed find some heroes, he also finds that they don’t know what to do in a world where everyone they ever fought to protect now wants only to blame them for the hell the world has transformed into..."
