Lionsgate will produce a live-action feature based on the Ubisoft "Rabbids" video game franchise, focusing on wild rabbit-like creatures known as 'Rabbids', who cause havoc and mischief, speak gibberish and yell "BWAH!" whenever they experience adrenaline rushes:
A ten-volume comic book series based on the franchise has been released in France, Belgium and Switzerland, illustrated by French cartoonist Romaine Pujol.
To date "Rabbids" video games have sold over 14 million units to date.
Other merchandising includes a "Rabbids" TV series, T-shirts, figurines, costumes...
...plush toys, school equipment and 'Happy Meal' toys.
