Marvel's "Fallen Angels" - Enter 'Psylocke'



Marvel Comics' "Fallen Angels" #4, available December 18, 2019 is written by Bryan Edward Hill and illustrated by Szymon Kudranski, with a cover by David Nakayama:


"...'Apoth' approaches. as the past of 'Psylocke' threatens her new team. her past continues to haunt her as she molds her companions into a fighting force. But can they take on the children of Apoth?..."


Originally presented as a 'precog' and then as a telepath, 'Psylocke' aka 'Betsy Braddock', initially had her mind placed in the body of the Japanese female ninja 'Kwannon', gaining many of Kwannon's martial arts skills and elements of her personality.


The character was created by writer Chris Claremont and illustrator Herb Trimpe in 1976, debuting in the Marvel's UK title "Captain Britain".


The character has been played by Meiling Melançon in the 2006 feature "X-Men: The Last Stand", and by Olivia Munn in the 2016 feature "X-Men: Apocalypse".
