Warner Bros Pictures will develop a new supernatural thriller based on the 2003 Vertigo graphic novel "Lovecraft, set in the 1920's, led by "Game of Thrones" writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, weaving fictional creations into the narrative of writer H.P. Lovecraft's actual life, dealing with the demonic 'Cthulhu' mythos:
"...when young 'Howard Phillips Lovecraft' becomes the reluctant guardian of the 'Necronomicon'...
"...his life veers into strange territory, as he maintains a tenuous balance between reality and his bizarre nightmares of other-worldly horrors..."
