Syfy Kills "Krypton"

After 20 episodes, SyFy has canceled the Belfast-shot "Superman" prequel TV series "Krypton", from Phantom Four Films, DC Entertainment and Warner Horizon Television, following its second season run, due to low ratings and the fact that comic book fans were not all that thrilled about the adventures of Superman's alien 'zayde':

"...'Krypton' follows Superman's grandfather, 'Seg-El', whose family, the House of 'El', has been ostracized and shamed.

"Seg fights to redeem his family's honor and save his beloved world from chaos..."

Producer David S. Goyer chose Belfast, instead of Vancouver to film his comic book series, so he could hire actors with 'British' accents.
