"Vampirella" from 'Drakulon'

Dynamite Entertainment's "Vampirella" #1, originally created by Forrest J Ackerman and illustrator Trina Robbins in 1969, showcases the 'vampire superheroine' from the planet 'Drakulon', available July 17, 2019 with variant covers:

"...'Vampirella' was an inhabitant of the planet 'Drakulon', a world orbitting twin suns that were causing droughts. The 'Vampiri', were able to transform themselves into bats at will, possessed superhuman physical attributes and sprout wings when required to fly.

"With the inhabitants of Drakulon dying slowly, a spaceship from Earth crashes on the planet. Vampirella, sent to investigate, is attacked; retaliating, she discovers that the astronauts have blood in their veins.

"In order for her race to survive, she pilots the ship back to Earth. There, Vampirella devotes her energy to ridding the world of evil vampires who owe their existence to the original 'Dracula', who also came from Drakulon but was corrupted by 'Chaos'..."
