Stabbing On "The Witches" Set

According to reports, the Warner Bros. Studios stages in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, UK have been locked down, following a bloody altercation between crew members working on the set of "The Witches", adapting author Roald Dahl's 1983 novel, starring Anne Hathaway as  the 'Grand High Witch', for director Robert Zemeckis, targeting an October 16, 2020 wide release:

"...police were called to the studio around 12:35 PM , after a fight broke out between two crew members -- reportedly a rigger and a stagehand -- working on the film. One man was knifed in the neck and was taken to hospital by ambulance. A second man, covered in blood was arrested on suspicion of wounding 'with intent to do grievous bodily harm' and is currently in police custody. It is believed the men are known to each other..."

"...in "The Witches'. a young boy goes to live with his Norwegian grandmother after his parents are killed in a car accident. The boy loves all his grandmother's stories, but he is especially enthralled by the one about witches, which she says are horrific creatures who seek to kill human children. She tells him how to recognize them, and that she herself is a retired 'witch hunter'.

"As specified in the parents' will, the boy and his grandmother return to England, where the house he is inheriting is located. The grandmother warns the boy to be on his guard, however, since English witches are known to be among the most vicious in the world. The grandmother also reveals that witches in different countries have different customs and while witches in each country have close affiliations with one another, they are not allowed to communicate with each other.

"She also tells him about the mysterious 'Grand High Witch', the feared and diabolical leader of all of the world's witches, who each year visits their councils in every country..."
