Sneak Peek footage from writer/director Jason Reitman's official Columbia Pictures' "Ghostbusters" movie, introducing an expanding universe of new characters and dimensions, targeting a production start in Calgary, Alberta, June 25, 2019, for a July 10, 2020 wide release:
"I've always thought of myself as the first 'Ghostbusters' fan," said Reitman, "when I was a 6-year-old visiting the set. I wanted to make a movie for all the other fans.
"This is the next chapter in the original franchise. It is not a reboot. What happened in the '80s happened in the '80s, and this is set in the present day."
The new "Ghostbusters 3" is targeting a Summer 2020 release, prepping a Spring 2019 start.
