"Blade Runner – Black Lotus", a new animated 13-episode TV series, set 25 years before the feature "Blade Runner 2049", based on author Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?" is from Alcon Television Group, a division of Alcon Entertainment, WarnerMedia's "Adult Swim" and Crunchyroll, to be directed by Shinji Aramaki ("Appleseed") and Kenji Kamiyama ("Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex") for Solar Digital Arts:
"I first saw 'Blade Runner' in 1982, at age 11," said Jason DeMarco, for "Adult Swim" on-air.
"It has remained one of the defining films of my life.
"To be able to explore more of this universe, with the incredible talent we have on board, is a dream come true..."
