"Fantastic Four" - Tyrus as the 'Thing' ?

What if... 6' 7" tall George Murdoch, aka 375 lb. professional wrestler 'Brodus Clay', aka political commentator 'Tyrus', was cast as 'Ben Grimm' aka the 'Thing' for Marvel Studios' "Fantastic Four", now that screen rights have been acquired by Disney ?:

"The 'Thing' is a founding member of the 'Fantastic Four', created by writer-editor Stan Lee and illustrator Jack Kirby, debuting in Marvel Comics' "The Fantastic Four" #1 (November 1961).

"...the four friends who gained superpowers after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space, are 'Mister Fantastic' ("Reed Richards'), a scientific genius and the leader of the group, who can stretch his body into incredible lengths and shapes, the 'Invisible Woman' ("Sue Storm'), who can render herself invisible and project powerful invisible force fields, the 'Human Torch' ("Johnny Storm'), who can generate flames and fly...

"...and the monstrous 'Thing' ("Ben Grimm'), their grumpy but benevolent friend, a former college football star and pilot, who possesses tremendous superhuman strength, durability and endurance due to the nature of his orange, rock hard flesh.

"The 'Thing' is often filled with anger, self-loathing and self-pity over his new existence, serving as an 'uncle' figure, to the group, a long-term friend of the family with a gruff Brooklyn manner...

"...short temper and caustic sense of humor..."

According to creator Stan Lee, the 'Thing' has become "...the most lovable group member: honest, direct and free of pretension...

"...turned into a monster, and bitter because unlike the other three he cannot change back to a normal appearance..."

Aside from televised wrestling gigs, Tyrus has appeared in film/TV including "No One Lives", "Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery", "Enuattii", "Supercon", "Total Divas", "Preacher", "MacGyver" and appears weekly on "The Greg Gutfeld Show".
