The CW has greenlit a new TV series adapting the "Roswell High" books by Melinda Metz, following "...the daughter of undocumented immigrants, who falls in love with a police officer who is in reality an alien..."
The 10-book "Roswell High" series chronicles the adventures of three teen 'aliens' and their human friends, who attend 'Ulysses F. Roswell High' in Roswell, New Mexico.
The first "Roswell" TV series aired for 3 seasons (1999-2002).
