Sneak Peek the award-winning "Game of Thrones" episode "Battle of the Bastards", the ninth episode of the sixth season of the fantasy TV series, that aired June 19, 2016 on HBO, directed by Miguel Sapochnik, winner of the 'Directors Guild of America' award for 'Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series':
"...'Jon Snow' and 'Ramsay Bolton' face off in a battle for control of 'Winterfell'. The 'Bolton' army defeats most of Jon's force, mostly composed of 'Wildlings'. Meanwhile, 'Daenerys Targaryen' defeats the 'Masters in Meereen' and begins making new alliances..."
The "Battle of the Bastards" battle scene took 25 days to film and required 500 extras, 600 crew members and 70 horses, earning "Game of Thrones" 'Primetime Emmy' awards including 'Outstanding Directing' and 'Outstanding Writing'.
