Producer James Cameron, creator of the "Terminator" franchise has confirmed he has taken control of the brand and will produce a new trilogy of films, continuing events following "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", with "Deadpool" director Tim Miller at the helm, reinvigorating characters with the origin of the killer robots and how they came to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, plus the heralded return of the original 'Sarah Connor', played by Linda Hamilton:
"...rather than playing the indestructible killing machine of the title, Arnold will play the human character...
"...the 'Terminators' are modeled after..."
Cameron recently released his classic 1991 feature "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", August 25, 2017 in a fresh, re-mastered 3D conversion, incorporating 'StereoD', a visual technology used in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens":
