Producer James Cameron, creator of the "Terminator", will take control of the brand for a trilogy of films, continuing events from "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", with "Deadpool" director Tim Miller at the helm, reinvigorating characters with the origin of the killer robots including the return of 'Sarah Connor' (Linda Hamilton):

Cameron recently released his classic 1991 feature "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", August 25, 2017 in a fresh, re-mastered 3D conversion, incorporating 'StereoD', a visual technology used in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens":
