Actor Michael Douglas aka 'Hank Pym' in "Marvel's Ant-Man" has confirmed he will return for the sequel "Ant-Man and the Wasp", co-staring Paul Rudd as 'Scott Lang' and Evengeline Lilly as 'Hope van Dyne', shooting in Atlanta, Georgia starting July 2017 :
On a budget of $130 million, the Domestic (North American) box office earnings of the Buena Vista-distributed, PG-13 feature "Ant-Man", earned $180,202,163.
Foreign (international) box office earned $339,109,802.
The world-wide total of "Ant-Man" was$519,311,965.
"I was raised by two superheroes," said Lilly about 'Hope Van Dyne' aka 'The Wasp', "so, I'm a pretty screwed up human being.
"I am also fairly capable, strong, and kick-ass, which is wonderful to play, but the most fun to play is just how messed up she was from being raised by two superheroes.
"And the clear message sent by name is that I'm not a big fan of my father and so I took my mother's name."
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, 'The Wasp' debuted in Marvel Comics' "Tales to Astonish' #44 (June 1963), with the ability to shrink to a height of several centimeters...
