Sneak Peek footage from the new horror TV series "The Exorcist", based on the novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty, starring Geena Davis ("The Fly") as 'Angela Rance', with David Hewlett as the voice of 'the demon', premiering September 29, 2016 on Fox:
Blatty published 'The Exorcist' in 1971, then won an Oscar writing the adapted screenplay for director William Friedkin's 1973 feature of the same name.
"The book details the demonic possession of a twelve-year-old girl, the daughter of a famous actress, and the 'Jesuit' psychiatrist priest who attempts to exorcise the demon..."
Cast also includes Alfonso Herrera as 'Father Tomas', Ben Daniels as 'Father Marcus',Brianne Howey as 'Katherine Rance', a former ballet dancer, Hannah Kasulka as 'Casey Rance', Kurt Egyiawan as 'Brother Bennett', Alan Ruck as 'Henry Rance', Giu Carol as 'Paloma' and Lynn Gerbec as the 'Lacrosse Coach'.
