Although he didn't make it into "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" could super-dog 'Krypto' be sniffing around to appear in a developing live-action "Titans" TV series?:

The team roster included 'Comet' the 'Super-Horse', 'Streaky' the 'Super-Cat', 'Krypto' the 'Super-Dog', 'Beppo' the 'Super-Monkey' from 'Krypton' and the shape-changer 'Proty II'.
Significant appearances include "Adventure Comics" #322 (July 1964) when 'Proty II' is initiated into the team and issue #343 (April 1966), when the 'Super-Pets' help the 'Legion of Super-Heroes' battle the 'Luck Lords'.
"Adventure" #364 (January 1968) includes the story "The Revolt of the Super-Pets!"
The team rarely appeared after the 'Silver Age' (1960's) except for 'Krypto' who became a popular supporting character in several "Superman" comic book titles.
Other versions of the 'Super-Pets' appeared in "DC Super Friends" #14 and on the cover of Marvel Comics' "Not Brand Echh" #7.
DC Super Friends include 'Ace the Bat-Hound'.
Also included is 'Aquaman' octopus 'Topo' and 'Jumpa' the 'Wonder Woman' kangaroo. The team was led by 'Ch'p', a squirrel-like 'Green Lantern', who became the 'inspiration' for Marvel's 'Rocket Raccoon' from "Guardians Of The Galaxy".
