"Starfire" - Open and Liberated

DC Comics' "Starfire" #12, available May 11, 2016, is written by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti and illustrated by Elsa Charretier, with covers by Conner and Palmiotti:

"...'Starfire', the high-flying, over-sexed alien superhero is finally figuring out the new world around her...

"...as she surrounds herself with her new friends and extended family for a romantic and wild end to her 'Key West' adventure..."

Created by Marv Wolfman and George PĂ©rez, Starfire debuted in DC Comics Presents #26. (1980), as a princess of the planet 'Tamaran', who escapes execution at the hands of her jealous older sister 'Blackfire'. She then traveled to Earth, meeting up with the 'Teen Titans', becoming a charter member with the team for most of her career.

It is noted that her culture's different standards of intimacy cause her to be extremely open and sexually liberated by human standards, as a frisky member of the 'Justice League', 'Outlaws', 'Outsiders' and 'R.E.B.E.L.S.'.
