'Hippolyte' debuted in "All Star Comics" #8 (1941)...
...the same comic book that introduced her daughter, 'Wonder Woman'.
The 'Amazons' were decreed to leave the mortal world...
...and relocate to 'Paradise Island', establishing their own society, free from the 'evils' of man's world, before Diana establishes herself in Ameica.
