According to new reports, the upcoming Marvel-Sony "Spider-Man" movie, will be based on a 1984 "Amazing Spider-Man" comic book:
"Homecoming" refers to "Amazing Spider-Man" #252 (1984), featuring the black suit that will evolve into 'Venom'...
...as well as cameo appearances including 'Black Cat', 'Dr. Curt Connors', 'J. Jonah Jameson', 'Joe Robertson' , 'Aunt May', 'Captain America', 'Captain Marvel', 'Hawkeye', 'Iron Man', 'Thor' and the 'Wasp'.
Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige confirmed the Marvel-Sony deal allows Spidey to appear in Marvel movies and Marvel characters to appear in Spider-Man movies.
