According to reports actor Dane HeHann ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2"), along with Cara Delevingne ("Suicide Squad"), will star in director Luc Besson's next feature "Valérian and the City of a Thousand Planets", based on the French comic book series ("Valérian and Laureline"), currently in pre-production:
"...in the 28th century, time-traveling special agents 'Valérian' (DeHann) and 'Laureline' (Delevingne) fight enemies of the 'Terran Empire' in "Valérian and Laureline", based on the 1967 Franco-Belgian comic book series "Valérian and Laureline", created by writer Pierre Christin and illustrator Jean-Claude Mézières.
"Humanity has discovered the means of travelling instantaneously in time and space. The capital of Earth, 'Galaxity', is the center of the 'Terran Galactic Empire', with Earth itself becoming a virtual utopia with most of the population living a life of leisure in a virtual reality dream-state while ruled by the benign 'Technocrats of the First Circle'.
"The 'Spatio-Temporal Service' protects the planets of the 'Terran Empire' and guards against temporal paradoxes caused by rogue time-travellers..."
