'Black Widow' Covers "GQ"

Take another look at a pictorial showcasing everybody's favorite 'Black Widow', actress Scarlett Johansson in a recent issue of "GQ" magazine:

Johansson first signed on to play Marvel Comics' Russian spy 'Natasha Romanoff' aka 'Black Widow' in the feature "Iron Man 2"... an undercover spy for 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' and assistant to 'Tony Stark' (Robert Downey Jr.) aka 'Iron Man'.

She was cast only after a scheduling conflict forced actress Emily Blunt to drop out of the part.

Johansson then reprised the 'Black Widow' role in director Joss Whedon's "The Avengers" (2012), who confirmed Marvel was "really behind" the character.

Johansson again portrayed Black Widow in the 2014 feature "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

In "Avengers: Age Of Ultron", Johansson plays the character on film for an unprecedented fourth time and will return for a fifth time as Natasha in "Captain America: Civil War".

"She was the most fun for me because she's not a hero," said Whedon about 'Black Widow'.

"And that just makes her so interesting to me".

"We've already started discussions with Scarlett about the idea of a solo movie," confirmed Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, "and have begun putting together concepts..."
