"X-Men" Live-Action TV Series



According to reports Marvel and Fox will co-produce the new live-action, "X-Men" TV series "Legion" and "Hellfire", based on the Marvel Comics characters:


"..in 'Legion' based on the Marvel Comics' series "X-Men: Legacy", 'David' the mutant son of 'Professor Charles Xavier', is diagnosed as a schizophrenic, checking in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.


"'Hellfire', set in the late 1960's, follows a young special agent who learns that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities...


"...is working with a clandestine society of millionaires, known as 'The Hellfire Club' to take over the world..."


'The Hellfire Club' recently appeared in director Matthew Vaughn's "X-Men: First Class" (2011), including 'Sebastian Shaw' (Kevin Bacon) and 'Emma Frost' (January Jones).
