Sneak Peek leaked images from the Toronto set of director David Ayer's currently shooting DC Comics adaptation "Suicide Squad", revealing the actor Common ("Hell On Wheels") in character and in costume:
Common is playing DC Comics 'Abel Tarrant', aka 'The Tattooed Man', who uses an ink with special properties to tattoo himself and is then able to bring the tattoos to 'life'.
Tarrant, was a former sailor who turned to burglary, created by Gardner Fox and Gil Kane, first appearing in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #23 (1963).
During one of his heists, he was exposed to mysterious chemicals which left him with the mental ability to create actual objects from them.
When he got back from the robbery, he tattooed himself using the chemicals so he would always have them near him.
He would again resurface as a member of the 'Suicide Squad', saying that despite his attempts to reform, he had been unable to escape his past...
