Take another look @ actor Jason Momoa, aka 'Aquaman' in "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice", confirming his character will become more prominent in "Justice League", "Justice League- Part 2", plus a standalone "Aquaman" movie to be directed by James Wan:
Momoa confirmed he is signed for 4 films as 'Aquaman', the 'King Of The Seven Seas'.
"'Aquaman' will be in 'Batman v Superman' because the fishes were affected due to the 'World Engine' under the ocean, as seen in 'Man of Steel'..."
Unlike Marvel's 'Atlantean'-human hybrid 'Namor the Sub-Mariner', 'Aquaman' is all human, created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, debuting in "More Fun Comics" #73 (November 1941)...
...initially as a backup feature in DC's anthology titles, then starred in several volumes of a solo title.
