"Kingsman: The Secret Service 2"

According to reports, a sequel to director Matthew Vaughn's R-rated $80 million budgeted comic book feature "Kingsman: The Secret Service", has been greenlit by Fox for a big budget sequel, following the original film's $400 million dollar world-wide box office gross:

The original cast also included Taron Egerton, Michael Caine and Samuel L. Jackson.

Vaughn co-wrote the original screenplay with Jane Goldman and produced through his MARV Films banner.

"...the world's greatest secret agent is on the most exciting case of his career.

"But will the end of the world as know it take a back seat to training his street-punk nephew to be the next 'James Bond'?

"What's the secret link between a series of kidnapped sci-fi stars, the murder of an entire town, and a dark secret from inside 'Mount Everest'?

"Under the supervision of 'Uncle Jack', the spy skills of 'Gary' blossom--

"...but when the duo learn what's behind the celebrity kidnappings...

"...the knowledge comes at a price.

"The conspiracy begins to unravel...

"...but who can be trusted when so many prominent figures seem to be involved?..."

"...Hopeless street punk 'Jake' is faced with a stark choice: continue along his current path of crime and desperation leading him toward an unpleasant end in the gutter...

"... or follow the instruction of his uncle as he tries to hone Jake's violent tendencies and get him accepted into the ranks of the 'British Secret Service'.

"As Jake tries to make it through his uncle's training program, they will face a tragedy involving an entire town, a dark secret hidden inside 'Mount Everest' and the kidnapping of 'Mark Hamill'..."

"We came up with this idea of a wee nerd who becomes a gentleman spy, ditching his trainers for suits and being taught how to speak properly," said Millar about "The Secret Service".

"The reason he gets chosen is that a guy like that is disposable.

"I am a massive 'Bond' fan and 'Secret Service' is like 'My Fair Lady' meets 'James Bond'.
