'Wanda Maximoff' aka 'Scarlet Witch' appears in the 2015 feature "Avengers: Age of Ultron".
Actress Elizabeth Olsen first appeared as the character in a mid-credits scene of the 2014 film "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", where she, alongside her brother 'Pietro' are captives of 'Baron Strucker'.
Both are given great powers after they volunteer themselves to be experimented upon by 'Hydra'.
Olsen is signed to Marvel Studios in a multi-picture deal as 'Scarlet Witch'.
"...with 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' destroyed and the 'Avengers' needing a hiatus from stopping threats, 'Tony Stark' jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program using 'Ultron' a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence.
