Director Paul Feig ("Bridesmaids") recently confirmed to AMC's "Talking Dead" host Chris Hardwick, that "Walking Dead" -like 'zombies' will be a big influence in Sony's upcoming all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot.
"I really feed off "The Walking Dead", said Feig.
"What I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it's always about gauntlet run. And that's something, an element I want to bring to this 'Ghostbusters' reboot is having to get through these various obstacles that are supernatural and all that..."
Feig's "Ghostbusters" without Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, will be released in theaters July 22, 2016.
