"Jem and The Holograms"



The big screen adaptation of Hasbro's 1980's toy/cartoon TV series "Jem And The Holograms", will be released October 23, 2015:


Directed by Jon M. Chu ("G.I. Joe: Retaliation") cast of the new film includes Aubrey Peeples ("Nashville") as 'Jem', Stefanie Scott ("Flipped") as 'Kimber', Hayley Kiyoko ("The Fosters") as 'Aja' and Aurora Perrineau ("Pretty Little Liars") as 'Shana'.


"Jem and the Holograms", created by Christy Marx, was a Toei Aimation TV series airing from 1985 to 1988 in US first-run syndication...


...following owner 'Jerrica Benton', her singer alter-ego 'Jem', her band the 'Holograms' and their adventures.


The series was a joint collaboration by Hasbro, Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions, the same team behind "G.I. Joe" and "Transformers" cartoons.
