Marvel has confirmed that Emmy-winning actress Drea de Matteo ('Adriana' in "The Sopranos") will join the cast of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as a character "...with a grudge against the organization...":
"...Drea de Matteo will play the character 'Karla Faye Gideon', a gifted woman with a grudge to bear against S.H.I.E.L.D., joining forces with 'Cal', the father of 'Skye'..."
"We’re thrilled to have Drea join us as yet another great villain to challenge our cast," said Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. "We relished the opportunity to work with her in such a menacing role."
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, returning March 3, 2015 on ABC.
