"Terminator Genisys: 'T-800' Robot Revealed

Sneak Peek the first official image of a 'T-800' robot from director Alan Taylor's upcoming "Terminator Genisys", plus take another look @ all the footage from the new film released to date:

"...the new film is set in 2029, when the 'Future War' is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system 'Skynet' on the ropes. 

"'John Connor' (Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance and 'Kyle Reese' (Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California.

"As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, 'Sarah' (Emilia Clarke), from a 'Terminator' programmed to kill her...

"...so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected..."

The new film is a continuation of film-maker James Cameron's "Terminator 2: Judgement Day".

"The Terminator" released in 1984, was inspired by themes and premises by science fiction author Harlan Ellison...

...then scripted by Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd, with direction by Cameron.

In the first film, The 'Terminator' is sent back in time from the year 2029 to 1984 to kill 'Sarah Connor' (Linda Hamilton). 

'Kyle Reese' (Michael Biehn), a soldier from the future, is sent back in time to protect Sarah...

...so that her unborn son can lead the future resistance forces.

Three sequels were produced including "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991)...

.."Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" (2003), and "Terminator Salvation" (2009).
