"Breaking Bad" Prequel : "Better Call Saul"

Sneak Peek more clips of footage from AMC's "Breaking Bad" prequel series "Better Call Saul", debuting February 8, 2015, starring Bob Odenkirk reprising his role as Irish 'criminal' lawyer 'Jimmy McGill' aka 'Saul Goodman':

"...set six years before 'Saul Goodman' meets 'Walter White', 'Jimmy McGill' is a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny...

"...and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet.

"Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is 'Mike Ehrmantraut' (Jonathan Banks). The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts 'criminal' in 'Criminal lawyer'..."

"He seems to be a pretty happy-go-lucky guy, and that makes him everything that 'Walter White' is not, " said creator Vince Gilliagn about Saul Goodman, "...and that also makes for tricky drama. "Breaking Bad," concluded on AMC September 2013, following 'Walter White' (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher diagnosed with a terminal illness, who turns to making methamphetamine to support his family, ending up as a ruthless drug lord. The series won ten Primetime Emmy Awards, including 'Outstanding Drama Series' in 2013.

"Why not shoot 'Saul' in the same way?'" said Gilligan. "Let’s shoot it in Albuquerque, let’s get as much of the crew back together as possible, and let’s do it the way we did it before so that it will be of a piece with that pre-existing fictional universe that we had so much fun creating..."
