Director Justin Lin (Fast and Furious 6") is prepping "Star Trek 3" to shoot principal photography in Vancouver, British Columbia and Seoul, South Korea, starting Spring 2015 for a July 8, 2016 release, with Oscar winning DP Claudio Miranda ("TRON: Legacy") behind the camera:
"...I met with Jeffrey Chernov, producer of 'Star Trek 3'," said Seoul, South Korea Mayor Park Won-soon, "at the Paramount Pictures Studio and he agreed to film a portion of the upcoming movie in Seoul."
