Sneak Peek footage revealing actor Ben Affleck, playing 'Bruce Wayne' aka 'Batman' in "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice", nursing an injured left shoulder on the new film's Detroit, Michigan set August 9, 2014:
"...Affleck, was sent home from set after straining his body due to a complicated move using his left shoulder. 'It was hurting him pretty bad' a source revealed. 'He’s putting his all into this role and it’s pretty physically demanding. The trips to the gym are two, sometimes three times a day and on set he’s like a machine. Ben can act, but has been put on temporary hold from doing any stunts for a few days. That is, until the doctor gives him the OK to start again..."
'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Cast includes Henry Cavill as 'Superman'/'Clark Kent', Ben Affleck as 'Batman'/'Bruce Wayne', Amy Adams as 'Lois Lane' and Laurence Fishburne as 'Perry White'.
