Development continues on director Doug Liman's New Regency/Ubisoft Motion Pictures feature adaptation of the video game "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell", starring 'Bane' actor Tom Hardy ("The Dark Knight Rises"):
Producer is Basil Iwanyk from a screenplay by Eric Warren Singer.
Hardy will play 'Sam Fisher', a special operative in the 'black-ops' division 'Echelon', neutralizing international terrorist threats and rogue forces "...in modern, realistic stories ripped from the headlines..."
