A "Superior" Superhero

According to reports, director/producer Matthew Vaughn ("Kick-Ass") will produce a big-screen Fox adaptation of Marvel's Icon imprint comic book series "Superior" by "Kick-Ass" creator Mark Millar:

"...illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu, "Superior" focuses on a young boy who loses his social life when he is stricken by a debilitating disease. One night, an 'alien monkey' grants the boy one wish and he chooses to become his favorite superhero, a character named 'Superior'.

"But the boy discovers that the monkey is actually a demon from Hell and the boy must sell his soul if he is to remain the powerful hero -- or return to his original body..."

Millar is also noted for creating the comic book titles "Wanted" and "The Secret Service", that have both been adapted to film.
