According to new reports, the developing dramatic live-action TV series "Gotham", greenlit for a pilot, "...will track a younger version of 'Commisioner James Gordon', as well as 12-year old 'Bruce Wayne', up until the time he puts on his 'Batman' cape in the finale, with the city of 'Gotham' teetering on the edge, in an operatic soap with a larger-than-life quality..."
The potential series will also feature several costumed villains from DC's "Batman" and "Detective" comic book series:
Villains being cast include 'Catwoman', 'The Riddler' and 'The Penguin.
The "Gotham" script is by Bruno Heller ("The Mentalist") for director Danny Cannon ("CSI"), who will also executive produce.
