"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" - 'Batroc The Leaper'

Sneak Peek the origins of Marvel's 'Georges Batroc', aka 'Batroc the Leaper', played by actor and former 'UFC' Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre in Marvel Studios' "Captain America: The Winter Soldier":

Created by writer Stan Lee and illustrator Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics' "Tales of Suspense" #75 (1966) , Batroc is a mercenary by trade, adept at the French form of kick-boxing known as 'savate'.

Batroc has no superhuman abilities, but is in peak physical condition, with the strength of an Olympic-level weightlifter.

His leg muscles are particularly well developed enabling him to leap great distances.

He is also an expert hand-to-hand combatant and skilled military tactician, having formerly been in the 'French Foreign Legion'.

Batroc is also an experienced thief and smuggler, fluent in both French and English.

Although, as a villain, he does not hesitate to perform any number of criminal acts for his clients, Batroc has, by his own rights, a strong sense of honor, and will turn against any client that unfairly deceives him into committing crimes to which he might not otherwise have agreed.
