"Sleeper" Series To The Big Screen

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will adapt the Wildstorm 'noir universe' comic book series "Sleeper" by writer Ed Brubaker and illustrator Sean Phillips, as a major motion picture for Warners:

"...'Sleeper' is set in a noir universe where people are spontaneously developing superpowers. 'Holden Carver', a man who can absorb pain and pass it on to others, infiltrates a criminal organization on behalf of a law enforcement agency. His allegiances come into question, especially when he falls for the 'Miss Misery'..."

Jennifer Todd will produced the film from a screenplay by Shawn Ryan and David Wiener.
