Sneak Peek new footage from the next episode of the Alberta-lensed 'western' TV series "Hell On Wheels", airing August 24, 2013 on AMC, plus new images from the upcoming episode "Searchers".
The Alberta-lensed series stars Anson Mount as 'Cullen Bohannon', a former Confederate soldier who works as a foreman on the railroad as he tries to track down the Union soldiers who murdered his family.
Produced by Joe and Tony Gayton, the series focuses on the settlement that accompanied the construction of the first transcontinental railroad.
This was referred to as 'Hell on Wheels' by the company men, surveyors, support workers, laborers, prostitutes, mercenaries and others who make the mobile encampment their home:
"...'Cullen' and 'Elam' try to secure a new lumber source following a railroad accident.
"Then 'Durant' tells 'Louise' a secret about Cullen..."
