"Tomorrowland" Update

From VancouverFilm.Net comes more information about Walt Disney Pictures' currently prepping science fiction feature, "Tomorrowland".

The new film is co-written/produced by Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof, starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie:

"..a teenage girl, a genius middle-aged man and a pre-pubescent girl robot attempt to get to and unravel what happened to 'Tomorrowland', that exists in an alternative dimension, in order to save the Earth..."

Clooney will play 'Frank Walker', described as a grizzled inventor, Laurie is 'David Nix', the film's villain and Raffey Cassidy is the robot 'Athena'.
