Sneak Peek new set images from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" revealing the return of a familiar character from the first film.
The set pictures reveal the return of actor Denis Leary as 'Captain George Stacy' from the first "Amazing Spider-Man" feature, who was killed by 'The Lizard' at the top of the 'Oscorp Tower'.
In the original film, Stacy's top priority is the arrest of Spider-Man, regarding him as a vigilante on a private mission ignorant of wider issues. Once he discovers Spider-Man's identity and realizes that Spider-Man is on his side and can save his daughter, he changes his opinion.
But after being mortally wounded by the mutated 'Dr. Curt Connors,' Stacy makes Peter promise to stop seeing his daughter 'Gwen', in order to keep her safe from his dangerous double life.
