The new film stars Brad Pitt as a 'United Nations' inspector in search of the 'zombie epidemic'.
Unlike the slow-moving, brain-dead zombies from "The Walking Dead", the "World War Z" zombies gather en masse to form a swarm of sprinting, teeth-gnashing, deranged flesh-eaters.
"Their souls have left them, " said Forster.
"...as a zombie pandemic traverses the globe, United Nations employee 'Gerry Lane' (Pitt) travels the world trying to find a way to stop the pandemic that is defeating armies and collapsing governments..."
"World War Z" will be released June 21, 2013 in 2D and RealD 3D selected theaters.
