"Locke & Key" Pilot Leads To Feature Film

According to reports, producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have concluded a deal with Universal Studios, to finance the IDW horror comic book series "Locke & Key" as a feature film.

"...created by horror author Stephen King's writer son Joe Hill and illustrator Gabriel Rodriguez, "Locke & Key" follows the 'Locke' family who travel to 'Keyhouse'.

"Keyhouse is a New England mansion with fantastic keys that open up doors.

"The building is also home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all..."

Kurtzman and Orci previously produced a TV pilot for a potential "Locke & Key" TV series that was not picked up at Fox.
