Showtime will premiere the first of 12 new episodes of the dramatic TV series "Masters Of Sex", starring actors Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan, September 29, 2013, based on 1960's 'human sexuality pioneers' William Masters and Virginia Johnson.
The series adapts the book "Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love", by author Thomas Maier.
The pilot was directed by Oscar nominee John Madden ("Shakespeare in Love").
